Xiaomi’s superstar smartphone, the Mi 5 will soon be hitting the Chinese markets. After many guesses about its specs, here is what we know.

There were some hints as to how the Mi 5 would look and how it would function. Some tech specifics here and there, we knew nothing more about Xiaomi’s newest addition to its product scale. Maybe this phone could take android gaming to a whole new level?

Some details recovered from Chinese tech website IT168 include pieces of information on the phone’s processor and display. Presumably, it will contain 4 GB of RAM and will be available in with two types of storage: 16 GB and 64 GB. Allegedly, it will also feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC.

There is no consensus, however, on how big the display will be

One leak said that the display would be a 5.2 inch one, while another guessed that the size would be 5.5 inches. There seems to be some miscommunication regarding the launch date, too: some say July, some November. Maybe they will come up with a mobile gambling app? At this rate, nobody will know nothing.

Probably, other features will include a QHD retina display, a fingerprint scanner for protection, a 16-megapixel and a 8-megapixel camera and a strong battery of 3,000 mAh. So, people, get excited! We don’t know much about it, but it’ll probably be a great addition to the long line of smartphones you’ve ever owned.
And you’ll only have to wait a couple of months.
